What services does Tong Da provide?
We are a one-stop import/export logistics agency between Mainland China and Southeast Asia. We handle transport booking (sea/air/land), documentation, and destination customs clearance for the entire shipment — fully managed and followed through, whether you are a trader, an e-commerce seller, or a manufacturer.
Which routes and transport modes do you cover?
We cover the China ⇄ Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand corridors by sea, air and land, in both LCL (consolidation) and FCL, with door-to-door options. Our base in Johor Bahru sits right next to Singapore, giving us direct access to both sides of the link.
What is the difference between LCL and FCL? Which should I choose?
FCL (full container load) is your goods alone filling a whole container — faster and more secure, best for larger volumes. LCL (less than container load) shares container space with other shippers' cargo — cheaper for smaller loads, but a little slower due to consolidation. As a rough guide, above ~10–15 m³ it is usually worth comparing FCL; below that, LCL is often the economical choice. Tell us your cargo and we will recommend the right fit.
How long does a shipment take?
It depends on the route and mode. As a guide, air freight typically arrives in about 3–7 business days; sea freight is roughly 20–45 days depending on the lane. Land transport sits in between. We confirm the exact transit time for your specific route when we send your quote.
Air or sea — which is right for my cargo?
Air is faster and best for time-sensitive, high-value or perishable goods, but costs more per kg. Sea is the economical choice for large, non-urgent cargo. If your goods are small, urgent or high-value, air usually wins; if they are bulky and flexible on timing, sea saves money. We help you weigh the trade-off based on your timeline and budget.
How long is a quote valid, and are there extra fees?
Ocean and air rates move with market demand, so a written quote is typically valid for a short window (often 3–7 days). The quote we give is an all-inclusive total with the main component items stated up front — we are upfront about fuel, peak-season and congestion surcharges, so there are no surprise charges at the end. We also suggest cargo insurance for full door-to-door cover.
Do you accept small shipments?
Absolutely. We apply the same professional standard to every shipment regardless of size — from a single parcel to a full container. Traders, e-commerce sellers, factories and fellow agents are all welcome.
Is the quote really all-inclusive with no hidden fees?
Yes. The quote you receive is the final total price, with every line item stated up front. Budget with confidence — transparent, all-inclusive pricing is a core commitment.
Do you handle documents and customs clearance?
Yes. We arrange the required export/import documents — certificate of origin, embassy legalization, commodity inspection and more — and coordinate clearance through locally licensed agents familiar with each country's regulations and tariff codes. Getting the HS/commodity code and declaration details right is key to avoiding duty errors and delays, and we handle that carefully.

Yes. Every shipment is assigned a dedicated officer who keeps you posted at key milestones — booking, departure, transit, arrival and clearance. We give you the tracking details for your shipment so you can follow it, and we proactively update you rather than waiting for you to ask.
